Brisbane Queen Street Mall

The Brisbane Queen Street Mall, in the city heart, is an absolute hub for shopping. Around 26 million people visit this popular Mall every year.

Queen Street Mall has a huge selection of specialty retail stores, fashion boutiques and entertainment galore. There are a number of shopping arcades within the Mall with the six-level Myer Centre being one of the highlights. This massive centre has a supermarket, cinema, restaurants and smaller food outlets along with many other retail stores. And of course, a huge Myer department store.

Broadway on the Mall and The Myer Centre provide a parcel delivery service to a number of Brisbane city hotels, so make sure you ask about this. There are also a number of tourism stores throughout the mall where you can buy souvenirs of Brisbane and Australia or pick up your Brisbane map.

The Queen Street Mall is abundant in places to eat and Brisbane's great weather makes it ideal to dine in one of the outdoor cafés.

Getting to the Mall is easy. The Queen Street Bus Station is located beneath the Myer Centre, with stairwells leading to the Queen Street Mall well sign-posted. There are plenty of car parking stations nearby or you can catch a train to Central Station.

The most relaxing and traffic free way to get there is on a Brisbane CityCat, along the Brisbane River. To go the Queen Street Mall, hop off at the North Quay or Riverside stop. The Mall is a short walk from here.
